Are you scared out of your mind to gain weight? Do you feel trapped in a cycle of restricting, then eating whatever you want—swinging between control and chaos? Does recovery feel lonely, hopeless, or out of reach? And on the days you do believe food freedom is possible, are you consumed with too much information? Or the idea - nobody will understand your situation?
Hi, I’m Andrea. I spent over 20 years stuck in that same exhausting loop—obsessing over food, exercise, and my body because I was desperate to be good enough. I chased perfection, constantly comparing myself to others, believing my worth depended on how I looked and what I achieved. An eating disorder and toxic body image stole my joy, my peace, and my purpose. But Jesus never left my side. He fought for me when I couldn’t fight for myself and led me to freedom I didn’t think was possible.
Now I’m here to help you find that same freedom.
On the show we learn how to obsess over Jesus—not calories, workouts, or the scale. Each week, we’ll focus on faith-based mindset shifts, real-life tools, and honest conversations that will help you heal your relationship with food, your body, and your heart.
Together, we’ll reclaim your self-worth and realign with your true identity in Christ. When you are well, your God-given gifts can shine fully into the world.
The world needs your light. ✨
Shine on, friend. Let’s do this!

What actually changed everything in my eating disorder recovery wasn't fixing my food, reaching a certain weight, or finding more willpower. It was changing what I believed.
In this faith-based eating disorder recovery episode, I'm sharing the biggest turning point in my healing journey and why recovery accelerated when I stopped believing every lie my eating disorder told me. We talk about identity in Christ, renewing your mind, fear of weight gain, body image struggles, perfectionism, self-worth, biblical truth, and how your beliefs shape your behaviors. You'll learn why God's truth must become louder than fear, how distorted beliefs keep eating disorders alive, and why healing begins by addressing the thoughts and beliefs driving the behaviors.
If you're struggling with food obsession, body image anxiety, fear of weight gain, or feeling stuck in eating disorder recovery, this episode will help you understand why lasting transformation starts with changing what you believe.

I couldn't fully heal my relationship with food because I wasn't really living my life. I was surviving it. At the time, I thought food was the problem. I thought my body was the problem. But underneath the eating disorder was something deeper: anxiety, emptiness, frustration, and a life that felt smaller than it was meant to be.
In this Christian eating disorder recovery podcast episode, I share another important piece of my healing story and explain why eating disorders often become coping mechanisms for deeper emotional pain. We talk about emotional healing, purpose, identity, faith, fulfillment, food obsession, body image struggles, and why recovery is about more than stopping behaviors. It's about creating a life worth being present for.
If you've ever felt exhausted, disconnected, stuck in survival mode, or like your entire life revolves around managing food and body image, this episode will help you see why healing isn't just about removing the eating disorder — it's about learning how to truly live again.

For years, I believed every thought that entered my mind. If I thought I was fat, I believed it. If I thought I needed to lose weight, I believed it. If I thought I wasn't good enough, I believed that too. I never stopped to question my thoughts, and that was one of the biggest things keeping me trapped in my eating disorder.
In this faith-based eating disorder recovery episode, I share a pivotal part of my healing journey and explain how food obsession, body image struggles, comparison, fear, and perfectionism gain power when they stay unchallenged inside our heads. We talk about thought awareness, renewing your mind, speaking thoughts out loud, separating truth from lies, and using biblical wisdom to challenge distorted thinking.
If you struggle with eating disorder recovery, negative body image, intrusive thoughts, food anxiety, perfectionism, or constantly feeling controlled by your thoughts, this episode will help you understand why not every thought deserves your agreement — and how learning that truth changed everything for me.

For years, I genuinely believed my body was the problem. I thought if I could just lose enough weight, get lean enough, flatten my stomach, or finally achieve the “perfect” body, then I would finally feel confident, accepted, peaceful, and happy. But even when my body changed… nothing inside me truly changed.
In this faith-based eating disorder recovery episode, I’m sharing part one of my personal healing story and unpacking why eating disorders are rarely actually about the body itself. We talk about body image struggles, perfectionism, insecurity, identity, control, fear of weight gain, and the emotional emptiness underneath body obsession. We also explore biblical truth from Psalm 139, the Samaritan woman in John 4, and how distorted thinking keeps women trapped chasing peace through body control.
If you struggle with body image anxiety, food obsession, fear of gaining weight, perfectionism, or constantly feeling like your body needs to change before you can finally feel okay, this episode will help you understand why the body was never truly the root issue — and where real healing actually begins.

If your mind feels consumed by food, body image, exercise, fear, or control all day long, this episode is going to help you understand something important: you are not weak, lazy, or lacking discipline. In fact, many women struggling with eating disorders are incredibly focused, driven, disciplined, and mentally strong. The problem is not that you care too much — it’s that your focus has been hijacked.
In this Christian eating disorder recovery podcast episode, we talk about obsessive food thoughts, body image anxiety, perfectionism, fear-based control, and how eating disorders redirect the drive and intensity God gave you toward self-destruction instead of healing. We also unpack biblical encouragement from Philippians 3, Peter walking on water, and what it practically looks like to redirect your focus back toward Christ when obsessive thoughts take over.
If you struggle with food obsession, fear of weight gain, eating disorder recovery, anxiety around food, or feeling mentally exhausted from constantly thinking about your body, this episode will remind you that your drive is not the enemy — it just needs a new direction.

If you’ve been trying to recover from an eating disorder on your own but still feel stuck, exhausted, or trapped in the same patterns, this episode is going to challenge you in the best way.
In this Christian eating disorder recovery podcast episode, we talk about why isolation fuels eating disorders, how silence protects destructive thoughts and behaviors, and why doing recovery alone often keeps women stuck longer than they realize.
We’ll also discuss the fear of asking for help, the pressure to appear strong, and why support, accountability, therapy, coaching, and honest connection are part of God’s design for healing.
If you struggle with food obsession, body image anxiety, fear of vulnerability, or trying to “fix yourself” alone, this episode will remind you that getting help is not weakness — it’s wisdom.

If you’ve tried everything to feel better — self-care routines, healthy habits, discipline, productivity, eating disorder recovery tools — and you still feel emotionally exhausted and empty inside, this episode is for you.
In this faith-based eating disorder recovery episode, we’re talking about the deeper reason so many women stay stuck in cycles of food obsession, body image struggles, emotional emptiness, and control around food. Because the eating disorder is not the root issue. It’s a symptom pointing to something deeper.
We’ll unpack why self-care alone cannot heal spiritual disconnection, what true soul care actually looks like, and why lasting healing requires connection with God instead of just symptom management.
If you struggle with fear around food, emotional emptiness, body image issues, or feeling disconnected from yourself and God, this episode will help you understand why nothing external ever truly feels like enough — and where real healing begins.
